didnt even realize this is here... well the guild we are in isnt very active in PVP at the moment, not sure what happened to Pyke, maybe he stumbled into a barrel of ale and is still trying to drink his way out? i dont know. latro and meretricis have joined us on Triniel. took em out for some rifting the other night (where you hop through a rift to the other factions land). had some good kills, tho it started to go downhill once some of the ppl i invited were running off by themselves instead of sticking with the group. very annoying. atm im frustrated because of the amount of magical accuracy (spell hit) that is required to hit higher lev players. In WoW pvp, spellhit needed is only something like 6% base to never miss, well in AION you can stack a @#$#@ ton of mag acc and still get "resisted", most of the armor, rings, neck, bels, helms, etc have magical resist on it. of course im not used to attacking higher lev players... the amount of money needed to do stuff in AION tho is kinda annoying. to make "good" items you have to "proc" a regular item, and the chances are about 1 in 4. So you end up having to spend 4 times the amount of mats to get that one good item. same for socketing "manastones" (gems), or enchanting gear. If your mana or encahnting stone isnt WAY higher than your gear (something like 15 levels) there is a decent chance it will fail, and if a manastone will destroy all otehr manastones in teh item. if an enchantment stone will take the item enchant level down a notch (can enchant an item up 10 levs). of course to the koreans and chinese this must be commonplace because they are forever botting their bank accounts full. to me, having "Chances" in your crafting and socketing and enchanting is nyerking annoying. it just widens the gap between ppl who can make tons of cash, from crafting or raping the broker, and those that fail at math (like me). oh well. i still pzwn biznatch's when i go solo rifting. it def gets the heart pumping when you are in enemy territory O-o
